Our Legacy in Agriculture and Farming Communities
North Central Agri-Power was founded on the Welker family’s deep roots in Midwest farming. They acquired S&W Equipment in Winamac, Indiana, in 1999, creating a trusted Case IH dealership focused on reliable farm equipment, parts, and service.
Serving Communities with Excellence
Through acquisitions and expansion, the dealership maintained strong community ties while offering knowledgeable sales, aftermarket parts, and service—building trust and supporting farmers to operate efficiently and profitably.
Heritage in Farming Communities
Beardsley Equipment in Lebanon, Ohio, began as Case Power and Equipment in the 1980s. In 1990, Glenn Beardsley and Ray Hamilton purchased the store, returning it to local ownership and earning community trust.
Commitment to Service and Growth
The team focused on reliable equipment, knowledgeable sales, and exceptional service. In 1997, the dealership became part of Bane Equipment, preserving its loyal team and community connections.
Serving Farmers Since 1946
Mitchell & Schoppel began in 1946 in Wanatah, Indiana, and moved to LaCrosse in 1980. Bud Schoppel built a strong reputation for personalized customer service and agricultural expertise.
Family-Focused Approach
Jim Smoker and Harold Heavilin continued the “mom and pop” atmosphere, running service and parts with a personal touch. The dealership became a community hub, highlighted by annual spring consignment sales. It became part of Bane-Welker Equipment in 2014.
Growing Together for Farmers
Formed in 2013 from four Ohio dealerships—J R Equipment Upper Sandusky & Delaware, Agri-Trac, and Hill Implement—Evolution Ag combined decades of experience to offer more inventory and selection for local farmers.
Rooted in Relationships
The dealerships emphasized one-on-one customer relationships and community support. The later merger with Bane-Welker aligned values and made for a smooth transition while continuing to serve local farms with trust and integrity.
